Wake up Olympia!

Not only am I a passionate fan but, I truly believe I can educate voters about bringing NASCAR to Washington State. I strongly believe voters are lacking information about the positive impact a track will have on the areas’ economy. In addition I plan to inform voters about NASCAR, the construction of the proposed track, and inform the state government in Olympia that Washington State has a huge racing fan base. The Northwest is the only region excluded from the NASCAR schedule. The Northwest has passionate fans and I believe the state government needs to wake up to the benefits of bringing NASCAR to Washington State.
In this blog I will be targeting/educating the following groups:
1. Kitsap County voters: Without their approval of the track in Bremerton, ISC will be forced to find another location to build the track. Kitsap County voters are the first hurdle that needs to be jumped over in order to get this track built.
2. The Washington State Department of Transportation: It controls decisions on traffic regulations for large events.
3. Washington State Government: The authority to whether ISC will be allowed to build in Washington State. They decide whether or not to approve tax payer involvement in the construction of the track.
4. NASCAR Fans: Want to see a track in Washington State, potential to persuade publics.
5. NASCAR,wants to see the sport expand to all regions in the United States and beyond.
6. Washington State Environmentalists who are against the track being built because of its potential impact on the local area.Kitsap County’s planning Commission has to approve all zoning changes that will be required for the construction of this track.
